Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions provided herein establish the contractual agreement between you and Heathfield Airport Taxi. Your act of booking a taxi and availing of our services implies your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
Definitions
In this agreement, references to “Heathfield Airport Taxi,” “we,” or “us” pertain to the service-providing company. The terms “you” and “your” are inclusive of individuals, businesses, or companies making bookings with us.
Booking
2.1 It is imperative that you allocate sufficient time for your journey, ensuring timely arrival, especially for airport transfers where adherence to flight check-in times is crucial. Heathfield Airport Taxi cannot be held responsible for delays resulting from inadequate time allocation or unpreparedness at the scheduled collection time.
2.2 Selecting a vehicle of appropriate size for passengers and luggage is your responsibility. Heathfield Airport Taxi does not guarantee the accommodation of excessive luggage. Note that a child, regardless of age, is considered a single passenger.
2.3 Requests for wheelchair access must be communicated at the time of booking.
Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quotations are based on information provided by you and are exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise. Any applicable VAT will be charged additionally. We reserve the right to adjust the quoted price in case of significant changes to the itinerary.
3.2 The quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the designated landing time and covers airport parking costs. Any waiting time beyond this period will be charged at the standard Heathfield Airport Taxi rate. While we strive to accommodate delays, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review and ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify Heathfield Airport Taxi of any discrepancies absolves us of responsibility for resulting delays or costs.
3.4 Payments for our services can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service
4.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Charges may apply for cleaning costs if the vehicle is soiled, damaged, or negatively impacted by a passenger.
4.2 Consumption of food, drinks, or smoking is strictly prohibited in the car.
4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 Compliance with licensing or insurance passenger limits is mandatory.
Cancellations
5.1 In case of a cancellation, prompt notification is essential. Failure to cancel before dispatch may incur charges based on the driver’s time and distance covered.
5.2 Cancellations made before dispatch through our online booking system may attract charges on the original payment.
Liability
6.1 While Heathfield Airport Taxi strives to ensure timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to delays beyond our control. We bear no responsibility for losses incurred by you or your business under any circumstances.
6.2 Luggage is transported at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to provide an alternative car for you to complete your journey promptly.
6.4 You shall not hold Heathfield Airport Taxi liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from actions or omissions of anyone in your party.
6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or any matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or reject a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is endangered by abuse, violence, or damage from you or any passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
8.1 Heathfield Airport Taxi may subcontract obligations as per this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 We reserve the right to modify terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. Existing bookings will adhere to rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 Information processing adheres to the guidelines of the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Heathfield Airport Taxi and yourself.
8.5 Nothing in these terms and conditions confers benefits to a third party. Third parties cannot enforce rights under this agreement without written consent.
Disputes
Any dispute or claim must be filed within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Claims made beyond this timeframe will not be entertained by Heathfield Airport Taxi.
